On April 17, 2024, the Ukrainian Interdepartmental International Trade Commission issued an announcement, in accordance with Resolution No. AD-562/2024/441-01 dated April 12, 2024, maintaining the final anti-dumping duty rates on steel fasteners originating from China, including screws, bolts, and nuts. This decision follows Resolution No. AD-465/2020/4411-03 dated September 21, 2020.
The decision is based on an anti-dumping investigation initiated on December 7, 2019. The investigation results indicated that the import prices of these products were below normal market value, potentially causing harm to the Ukrainian market. On September 26, 2020, the Commission issued an announcement, deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on the products in question effective September 29, 2020, with the following rates: Haining Hisener Trade Co., Ltd. at 32.47%, Ningbo Jinding Fastening Piece Co., Ltd. at 38.37%, and other suppliers at 67.40%. These rates apply to products under HS codes 7318 15 68 90, 7318 15 82 90, 7318 15 88 90, 7318 15 95 90, 7318 16 92 90, and 7318 16 99 90.
The Ukrainian Interdepartmental International Trade Commission further stipulates that all involved manufacturers and exporters must have agreements signed with Ukrainian residents.foreign tradeContract-compliant suppliers to ensure all transactions comply with Ukrainian legal provisions.
Maintaining the previous anti-dumping duty rates is the result of comprehensive analysis of relevant market data and domestic/foreign economic conditions. This measure aims to prevent market distortions, protect domestic industries, and ensure fair market competition.
This resolution will remain in effect for five years starting from September 29, 2020, until September 28, 2025. Ukraines Interdepartmental International Trade Commission will continue monitoring market conditions and adjust relevant policies as needed to safeguard domestic economic interests.
